Brazilian Checkers, also known as Brazilian draughts, is a variation of the classic strategy board game of draughts. It adheres to the rules and guidelines of International draughts with minor divergences, including a smaller 8x8 gameboard and a reduced number of checkers per player (12 instead of 20).
The objective of Brazilian Checkers is to eliminate all of the opponent's checkers or strategically "lock" them in place, rendering them immobile.
